Our technology

Through DiamiR Biosciences, our wholly owned subsidiary, we combine more than a decade of microRNA biomarker research with an accredited clinical laboratory in New Haven, Connecticut.

Our work is focused on unmet needs in brain health and oncology, where earlier and less invasive detection can change how patients are identified, enrolled in clinical studies, and monitored over time.

Niki BioSolutions brings together five capabilities that are usually spread across several organizations.

Scientific expertise

Our team and advisors include the scientists who first described plasma microRNA biomarkers of mild cognitive impairment and who have published on microRNA biology in neurodegeneration and cancer.

Laboratory capabilities

Our New Haven laboratory is CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited, and holds a New York State clinical laboratory permit and licenses in additional states.

Product development

Assay development is led by scientists with experience developing molecular diagnostic tests, using RT-qPCR chemistries suited to a clinical laboratory setting.

Clinical validation

We conduct studies with Alzheimer's Disease Research Centers and academic medical centers, supported in part by National Institute on Aging funding.

Commercialization

We offer testing services to research and biopharmaceutical partners today, and we plan to launch our lead test as a laboratory-developed test.

Our mission

Our mission is to develop minimally invasive solutions for the early detection and monitoring of brain and synaptic health conditions, and to deliver high-quality genomic and biomarker testing that supports Pharma product development and the clinical needs of patients in Brain health, neurodegeneration, and other diseases.

We serve healthcare providers, research institutions, and life sciences organizations, and we collaborate with academic centers, disease foundations, and biopharmaceutical companies.
